The Korpilahti unitThe Korpilahti Unit offers the degree programme in Cultural Management. The Korpilahti Unit is situated by Lake Päijänne at Korpilahti, a small town in central Finland. Korpilahti is 30 kilometres from Jyväskylä, the regional centre of central Finland. The Finnish architect Alvar Aalto lived and worked in Jyväskylä and many of his buildings can still be found in the town centre. |

Cultural Management Degree ProgrammeThe units offering the degree programme in Cultural Management all emphasise a different aspect of the arts. The Korpilahti Unit of Humanities Polytechnic specializes in music and dance. FacilitiesThe accommodation capacity of the Korpilahti Unit is about 180 beds, in residential halls and seperate student flats. There are both single and twin rooms available at the unit. Leisure activitiesThe unit has a sauna and barbecue facilities by the lakeside. In addition to swimming, rowing, sailing and fishing the students have a gym, swimming pool and solarium at their use.
